Dave Guinan — Director of Reimbursement
Mr. Guinan has over twenty years of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement experience as a healthcare consultant and as an auditor with a fiscal intermediary. During this time he has provided valued assistance and solutions to the healthcare community in areas including cost report preparation, audit assistance, appeals, Geographic Reclassification requests, exception requests, interns & residents reporting, reimbursement impact & feasibility studies and legislative impact studies.
Mr. Guinan now specializes in providing assistance to the hospital community in the area of Wage Index Reporting and audit assistance. He has worked with several metro areas and individual hospitals to obtain the most optimum Wage Index possible by ensuring proper reporting and compliance with the regulations.
Prior to entering the healthcare industry, Mr. Guinan served in various accounting and finance roles in public accounting and industry. As a CPA, he has the background and expertise to assist in making the proper Medicare/Medicaid Reimbursement decisions in accordance with the regulations.
