MERITS® Tracking Residency Education
MERITS® maintains a resident's activities from the time he / she enters the residency program to graduation. At any time detailed information can be retrieved by resident, by time period, or by department.
MERITS® documents the assigned time of residents and interns to create correct and complete files for the required IRIS disk. The program features:
- Rotation Schedules
- Call Schedules
- Weekly Assignment Schedules for Each Rotation
- Determines if Residents have Exceeded the Initial Resident Program Limitation
- Resident Information is only Entered Once
- Resident Name/Program Changes are Tracked
- Complete Documentation for FTE's Claimed on Cost Report
- Audit Reports to Check that Data is Correct
MERITS® can be used by the Graduate Medical Education (GME) departments and the Reimbursement department for various needs.
Developed to assist teaching hospitals in getting the reimbursements earned through their resident program, MERITS® can help you accurately track resident FTE's.
In addition, MERITS® provides reports documenting the proper number of GME and IME FTEs to be filed in the Medicare cost report. So when you file your IRIS disk, you'll get what's coming.
